Rooted in 1895 as Laurin & Klement in Czechoslovakia, Skoda Auto has forged a proud motorsport tradition over 120 years, racing and rallying in the former Eastern Bloc countries and on the international stage. Norwegian John Haugland’s successes in rugged rear-engined MBs brought countless class wins on the RAC Rally, Britain’s World Championship round. Rallye Skoda was a European counter centred on Mlada Boleslav, where the factory has been for 90 years. This ’78 sticker depicts one of the highly-developed 130RS coupes which filled all but P3 of the top eight. Jiri Sedivy/Jiri Janecek won the asphalt and gravel event.
