Over 50 VSCC Members and their pre-1939 motor cars are set to embark on the challenge posed by the over-night Rally.

The oldest entries brave enough to embrace the wintery conditions this year will be from 1925, a Vauxhall 30/98 Wensum, a Frazer Nash Super Sports and a Morris Cowley. This year the entries were extended to post 1945 sports cars for the first time enabling the Club to welcome a 1954 Morgan +4.

Centred on Bruntingthorpe in Leicestershire, the competitors will start the Rally from the Proving Ground, revisiting in the very early hours of the forecasted cold and snowy night for the halfway halt, before heading out once again, returning at dawn for a well-earned breakfast and the results. This Rally is not for the faint hearted; grit, determination and warm clothes are essential as well as a very good Navigator!

Next up for the VSCC will be the New Year Driving Tests at Brooklands Museum on Sunday 28th January.
