Closing UK roads for competitive motorsport was banned decades ago (though this has recently been rescinded) but you can still close a road for a 'parade’… So that is what this is...a parade; no timing, no competition, just petrolheads of all sorts, enjoying each other's company and driving up the one mile hill. No scrutineering (this is a public road after all) so all cars must be road legal, but still the weird and the wonderful turn up to this sleepy Surrey village near Guildford.
