The Historic Sports Car Club will have a major display of race cars at the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show at the Birmingham NEC from 8th-10th November.
The annual event is the biggest of its kind, with over 300 car and motorcycle clubs and 3,000 classic cars and motorbikes on show across seven halls at the Birmingham NEC. More than 70,000 enthusiasts attended the 2018 show.
The HSCC six-car display on stand 1-330 has been designed to appeal to show visitors, particularly those who may have considered historic racing to be out of their reach. The aim of the Club will be to show visitors that historic racing can be affordable, accessible, great fun and run in a safe environment.
The cars on show will be:
Mini Cooper from Jon Milicevic (Historic Touring Cars)
Fiat 127 from Nic Strong (70s Road Sports)
Bolwell Nagari GT from Justin Murphy (Historic Road Sports)
Cheetah from Ian Burford (Guards Trophy)
Austin Healey Sebring Sprite from Tony Davis (Historic Road Sports)
Renault 5GT Turbo from Prima Racing (80s Production Saloon & GT)
HSCC CEO Andy Dee-Crowne said: “We invite everyone attending the show to come and take a look at the cars we will have on display. We hope to talk to lots of people and demonstrate that going historic racing with the HSCC is a lot easier and more affordable than they might think.”
