Le Mans Legends Display Big Race Heritage

The Le Mans Legends race on Saturday morning should be a highlight of the build up to the actual 24-Hour races itself as well as reminding racegoers of the rich heritage of the event. With the eligible date range extended this year letting in the cars of the late 1960s, the event has a broad range of classic entries (see full list below) ranging from a 750cc Panhard to a pack of GT40s!
Thursday evening’s qualifying session saw the 1960s sports racers to the fore, with the French GT40 of Bernard Thuner and Claude Nahum quickest ahead. Just two seconds behind was the GT40 of Diogo Ferrao amd Martin Stretton, the front two almost twelve seconds clear of the pack and looking to have the race at the front to themselves.
