In the paddock at the 2018 Le Mans Classic was a collection of just a few of Porsche's long lineage of sportscars. We were sold the second we saw a 956 in New Man livery, and while the attending information board assures everyone that the car is fact the famour Joest Racing run chassis 117 that won the 1984 and '85 Le Mans 24-Hour races, there is a strong level of the opinion in the media centre that the winning car is in fact safely tucked away and this is another chassis - even so, one of the classic Le Mans cars and liveries.
