Friday Evening Start for Network Q Rally Revival

Excitement is building for this weekend’s inaugural Network Q Rally Revival, with a varied selection of cars and crews stretching back 60-years. Heading up the impressive entry list are multiple BRC champion Jimmy McRae with Pauline Gullick alongside. Fittingly they’ll be wheeling out the mighty V8 Firenza once again.

The top ten then takes on a real 1990’s theme with at two WRC star Nicky Grist in his ex Juha Kankkunen Celica GT4, with none other than reigning BRC champion Matt Edwards alongside. Number three is BGMSport owner Ian Gwynne with Dirtfish Rallies editor David Evans alongside. They’ll be in an ex Colin Mcrae Subaru Legacy.

In a moment to bring back the memories of 1995, at 4,5,6 will be three Subaru Imprezas all carrying the famous 555 based livery. It really will be a special moment to see the three of them lined up at the Chester racecourse start.

The quality continues throughout the field with a variety of well known cars and crews all helping to add to the atmosphere. Entrants to be flagged away by 1990 WRC ladies Champion Louise Aitken-Walker and 1985 RAC Rally winner Neil Wilson

There are various opportunities to experience the event but they are all pre bought tickets only:

- Ceremonial Start Chester Racecourse 28th Feb from 18.30 hrs with first car due on podium at 19.30 hrs. Display/Trade and commentary all on site.

- Rednal Circuit Oswestry from 09.00 Saturday, full morning of car clubs displays, drifting demonstrations, trade, autograph sessions and the event visiting from 10.00am.

- Network Q Rally Revival the legends return Oulton Park Rally circuit from 14.00 hrs, free entry but no facilities provided.
